Quality time spent at Pind Baluchi – By Himanshu Sharma

Two of my friends were meeting me after a long time for lunch along with their respective spouses, we decided to explore Rajouri Garden area and we landed at Pind Baluchi restaurant. Just to let you guys know this was my second visit to Pind Baluchi, the first was at the one at the Metro Walk mall in Rohini.  The fact that the food was very nice and very reasonably priced during my first visit, helped in our decision to visit them this time.

As we were 6 people,  we ordered two starters the first one being the Dahi Kebabs and the second one was Honey Chili Potatoes which were both very good and sufficient for 6 people. The restaurant serves hard drinks but we ordered soft drinks as we did not intend to take hard drinks in the afternoon. For the main course we ordered 2 portions of Dal Makhani, as one portion is only sufficient for 3 people and ordered one portion each of Paneer Lababdar and  Kadhai Paneer along with various breads. I would like to mention here that all of us were vegetarian on the particular day.

The only funny thing that happened during this meal was that I ordered a Red Chili Parantha and they brought a normal Lachcha Praantha with dry red chili powder sprinkled on top of it. My advice to Pind Baluchi – don’t do such things and spoil your name, it’s better to tell the customer you don’t/can’t serve it.

Other than that we enjoyed a nice meal and to our surprise all we had to shell out including the tip of 100 Rupees was Rs. 1500

  1. Have to agree…. Me and my friend went to Pind Baluchi at CP. It's a big let down…. No falovours, no taste, high prices as compared to the food quality….

Stay Away from Pind Baluchi, CP.
